Bloggmässan återkommer med ojämna mellanrum och innehåller en sorts predikan, ett tänkvärt citat, en illustration och en “psalm”, material hämtat från olika andliga traditioner.

Välkommen in i templet

Advaita beyder icke två. De som pratar engelska säger i stället non-duality.

Från wikipedia

The oldest surviving manuscripts on Advaita Vedanta is by Gauḍapāda (6th century CE), who has traditionally been regarded as the teacher of Govinda bhagavatpāda and the grandteacher of Shankara. Advaita is best known from the Advaita Vedanta tradition of Adi Shankara, who states that Brahman is pure Being, Consciousness and Bliss (Sat-chit-ananda).

Ruper Spira är en samtida författare och föredragshållare som arbetar i advaitatraditionen.

From an early age Rupert was deeply interested in the nature of Reality. For twenty years he studied the teachings of Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Rumi, Shankaracharya, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta and Robert Adams, until he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, twelve years ago. Francis introduced Rupert to the teaching of Jean Klein, Parmenides, Wei Wu Wei and Atmananda Krishnamenon and, more importantly, directly indicated to him the true nature of experience.

Här pratar han om The New Science of Consciousness: :

 Arundhati Roy:

"To love. To be loved. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget."
